The resort looks inward
Burasari Phuket places its emphasis on pools, planting and time within the grounds while keeping Patong close. The official website locates it 50 meters from Patong Beach and lists a swim-up bar and Spa Burasari. Its appeal is a combination of nearby town services and a resort setting that gives guests somewhere to pause between the beach and an evening out.
That atmosphere appears in specific guest accounts. Juju1978, staying in an Elite Pool View room in September 2026, praised the balcony overlooking the pool and the sense of relaxation despite nearby restaurants and markets. Surin168’s September account also highlighted the pool and staff. These descriptions support an inward-facing escape within Patong; they do not turn the surrounding district into a secluded destination.
Premier and Elite are different uses of space
The official Premier specification is 28 square meters, sleeping two, with a king bed or twins and a French balcony facing the city. Premier Pool View keeps the same stated area but changes the outlook. A French balcony should not be imagined as the furnished terrace shown in photographs of the pool-access categories. The room name matters because the outdoor experience differs substantially.
Elite rooms are listed at 40 square meters with a private balcony, looking towards gardens or the street. Elite Pool View is separately named. The larger footprint is therefore one reason to choose Elite, while a particular outlook remains another decision. Neither the word Elite nor the resort’s tropical imagery promises a sea-facing bedroom.
The distinction matters in guest reviews too. A July 2026 Premier guest on Trip.com liked the decoration and pool area but described the room as medium-sized and reported weak bathroom water pressure. Another July guest staying in Elite praised the location and helpful staff. Both were positive overall, but their different categories should remain visible when comparing impressions of comfort.

Pool access changes the daily routine
Premier Pool Access is published at 28 square meters and offers direct access to the shared swimming pool. Elite Pool Access expands to 40 square meters and adds a planted terrace with a daybed and steps into the water. These are different propositions from looking down at a pool from an upper balcony: the terrace becomes part of the swimming routine.
The hotel’s Honeymoon Room takes another approach, with a private terrace and outdoor bathtub. Mood Collection rooms are described with a wraparound balcony and open-air Jacuzzi. Those tubs are category-specific features, not amenities that should be attached to every Premier or Elite reservation. Likewise, direct pool access refers to the resort pool rather than a private swimming pool.
Pool life is a recurring pleasure in the guest material. On Tripadvisor, an October 2026 returning visitor, The Aussie Traveller, praised the pool rooms, food and warm breakfast welcome. Bannerman-7’s October account also liked a pool-view room, breakfast and nearby restaurants. Their experiences explain why the shared spaces matter even when guests intend to spend much of the holiday outside.
Friendly service alongside some practical reservations
The October 2026 Tripadvisor accounts give hospitality a place alongside the pools. Bannerman-7 described a welcoming arrival and appreciated breakfast, while The Aussie Traveller valued being recognized on a return visit. That repeat-guest perspective adds something different from a room specification: personal attention can be part of the attraction even when the surrounding town is the reason for visiting.
Room condition attracts a more qualified response. A June 2026 Premier guest traveling with friends, whose Trip.com review was posted in August, found the location convenient but the fittings dated. The July water-pressure complaint is another specific limitation. Neither account supports dismissing every room, yet both temper the expectation that attractive pool photographs establish uniformly updated interiors.
Burasari is a persuasive choice for travelers who want Patong’s beach, restaurants and services nearby while spending meaningful time around tropical pools. The most consequential choice is how the room connects to those grounds: a compact French balcony, a larger balcony or a terrace at water level. Its best-supported strengths are that relationship with the pools and the welcoming service reported by guests; room finish and bathroom performance deserve a more individual reading.
