A new name at the familiar Rawai address
Travellers searching for Phuket Sea Resort now need to check a second name: Blue Palm Seafront Resort Phuket. Trip.com’s listing retains the same property identifier and 54/14 Moo 6 Rawai address while displaying the Blue Palm name. The Blue Palm Hotels website now presents the Rawai resort alongside its separate Kata property. This is important when comparing photographs, facilities and reviews across booking platforms that have updated at different speeds.
A property response published on Trip.com says new management took over on June 1, 2026, and describes renovations to pools, air conditioning, bedding and Wi-Fi. Those are management’s claims about the changes. They explain why older reports deserve a date attached, but they do not independently demonstrate that every past problem has been resolved in every room. The current official website provides a better starting point for the accommodation being sold today.
Gardens and pools remain the main attraction
The current Blue Palm resort site describes two swimming pools: a main pool and a smaller, quieter one, surrounded by loungers and trees. Accommodation includes Superior rooms, bungalows, one-bedroom suites with separate living areas, and a two-bedroom family bungalow. Garden views and direct pool access are offered in selected categories. This is a low-rise garden-and-pool proposition, with the accommodation choice determining how directly the room connects to that outdoor space.
The practical distinction is between seeing the pool and stepping directly toward it. Anyone comparing a bungalow with a Superior room or suite should use the current category description and photographs, rather than assume that an older poolside review describes the same layout. The official site also labels a playground as coming from December; it should not be counted as an available facility before its opening is confirmed.
Older guest accounts help explain the enduring appeal of the setting. Clarissa, who stayed in April 2026 and reviewed the hotel on Expedia, praised the plants and trees around the pool, helpful staff and room tending. A Trip.com guest posting in February 2026 described children spending long periods playing in the pool and liked the nearby waterfront restaurants. Both accounts precede the management change described by the property.

Read the breakfast reports in order
Dining is one area where dates materially change the interpretation. A February 2026 Trip.com guest said breakfast was unavailable, while Expedia guest Jukka-Pekka reported no restaurant during a September 2025 stay and relied on nearby places to eat. These are useful descriptions of those visits, rather than reliable instructions for a new reservation.
The current Blue Palm Hotels website says breakfast is available, with buffet, continental and American options. It also lists a bar, parking, Wi-Fi and reception services. Guests should establish whether breakfast belongs to their rate and where it is served. An older complaint about missing breakfast should not automatically override the current offering, just as a new marketing description does not establish the quality of a meal another guest will receive.
The surrounding Rawai neighbourhood gives an alternative to relying entirely on the property. Both the guest material and current official description identify nearby shops and restaurants. That convenience is particularly relevant for a bungalow stay: breakfast outside, a pool afternoon and an evening meal along the waterfront can all be considered without assuming a comprehensive resort dining programme.
Waterfront convenience needs the right expectation
Rawai’s waterfront location does not establish direct access to a sandy swimming beach. The current official page points guests toward Nai Harn for a separate beach outing, while describing local seafood restaurants and everyday services around the resort. A guest planning to swim mainly in the sea should compare the journey to their preferred beach, rather than let the words Sea or Seafront decide the booking.
The earlier Expedia history includes maintenance concerns as well as praise: Brett’s December 2025 visit brought a clean, large pool-facing room but no hot water on the first night. That remains a dated individual experience. The sensible assessment today is a garden resort with a newly verified identity and promising published facilities, whose exact room, breakfast arrangements and recent condition should be confirmed under the Blue Palm name.
A few useful answers
Is Phuket Sea Resort now Blue Palm Seafront?
The matching Rawai address and Trip.com property identifier connect the older Phuket Sea Resort listing with the current Blue Palm Seafront Resort Phuket name.
Is breakfast available now?
The current Blue Palm Hotels website advertises breakfast. Confirm service details and inclusion in the chosen rate; older reviews describe a different period.
Does the waterfront location guarantee a swimming beach?
No. Treat Rawai waterfront access separately from a trip to a preferred swimming beach such as Nai Harn.
