Then why not join the 21st River Kwai International Half Marathon being held on Sunday. The event starts and finishes in front of the River Kwai Village Hotel in Sai Yok district, Kanchanaburi. The trail is ranked as the classic marathon route in Kanchanaburi as it has been used for the fun run for all 21 years. Adventurous participants will enjoy not only the lush forest but also the challenge of a slightly hilly terrain. Individual runners or teams of three (for the relay run) should apply by Saturday and the racers must be in front of the River Kwai Village Hotel before 6am.
